Talenthouse is pleased to announce Tshabee from Téglás, Hungary as the winner of the Photek Creative Invite to create a dubstep or 4 to the floor remix of one of Photek’s Drum and Bass tracks. Out of the pool of submissions, Tshabee’s remix of “Fake ID” was chosen to be on an official Photek release.

Tshabee is a self-taught musician who has been involved in the electronic music scene since 2000. He has submitted remixes to several contests, this being his biggest win. Photek will personally contact Tshabee to congratulate him as well. Click here to hear Tshabee’s winning track.

We were all very impressed with the submissions we received. Photek will distribute the tracks submitted to DJs around the world for possible future projects.

Photek, one of the founding pioneers of Drum & Bass, is working with Talenthouse to find an artist to create a dubstep or 4 to the floor remix of his Drum and Bass track “Fake ID”. The Creative Invite is now closed, and Photek is impressed with all of the outstanding submissions.

Photek is so inspired by the Creative invite submissions that he is going to share all submissions with some of the worlds most respected DJs in the realm of dubstep, house, and more.

This will give all those who submitted a chance to be heard by some of the most influential DJs in the industry. Photek is going to personally choose a winning track; although there is no official voting system for this invite, please support your favorite artist by voting for their submission. Although Photek is recognized as one of the founding pioneers of Drum & Bass, it has been his ability to take the signature Photek sound to outside of the genre that has set him apart from the crowd. He became legendary with the club – and video – hit “Ni Ten Ichi Ryu” and never failed to stay on top of his game with albums like “Modus Operandi” and “Solaris”.

Originally from London, Photek is now based in Los Angeles where through film music and artist collaborations, Photek finds himself evolving into an ever broader range of music and making his best work yet.

Rupert Parkes, which is his real name, worked with artists such as Nine Inch Nails, David Bowie, Björk, Gwen Stefani, Therapy?, Goldie, and Roni Size “Reprazent”. He also contributed to major movie and TV soundtracks like M. Night Shyamalan’s – Signs, Six Feet Under, The Matrix – Animatrix, The Italian Job, Stay, Invincible, American Wedding, Dreamland, Blade, City Of Industry, and Raising The Bar.

Talenthouse is working with Photek to find a great DJ, producer or recording artists to create a dubstep or 4 to the floor remix of his DnB track “Fake ID”. Photek has provided all the tracks/stems except the drums. Use these sounds to take the remix to a different place, make it banging as if you would want to hear it. We don’t want Photek clones here.

If your remix is selected it will become an official Photek release. You will be credited in full as the official re-mixer and receive full promotion and distribution.
