Feartured Film Artist, V Ken Marion, is a storyboard artist and illustrator in the film and animation industry who earned a BFA in Digital Arts from Pratt Institute. He is also pursuing sequential storytelling and editorial illustration. He likes using various traditional and digital mediums to create and tell stories and is always looking to push the “wow” factor.

Fewdio be premiering ‘Firsts‘ at their Comic-Con booth (#4116) this week on July 22nd through July 25th. So if you’re attending, make sure to check it out! Alessandro Di Renzo is our Featured Artist in Film this week. He is an editor, director, and writer who enjoys developing ideas for art installations, commercials, music videos, and short films. He was living and working in Barcelona for 5 years as a casting director and editor, moved on to London in 2008, and is now working on some collaborations in Italy.

Anri Inoue ventured to the States in 2003 to attend high school in Washington before moving to New York in 2006 for an undergraduate program at Pratt Institute. There Anri received a BFA in Digital Arts mainly focusing in 3D animation, 3D modeling, and texturing.

Anri plans to stay in New York to gain more experience and build a career as a 3D artist. Congratulations on being our Featured Artist in Film and best of luck with your career, Anri!

Our Featured Film Artist Kuangheng Hwang was born in Taiwan and raised in the United States where he grew up with a strong interest in drawing. After seeing the movie Toy Story for the first time, he knew exactly what he wanted to do in his professional career from that point on: 3D animation.

He went on to receive his BFA in Digital Arts from Pratt Institute and hopes to utilize the skills he learned to contribute to the animation industry. Kuangheng has experience working in both fast-paced corporate and studio environments and he firmly believes he can adapt well and be of great contribution to the future successes of great projects made alongside great people.

Sanders Hernandez creates digital animated shorts as well as still images. His style is variable and depends on whatever happens to be on his mind – ranging from cartoon characters, to more serious aesthetics, to photo-realistic architecture.

He is a 3D Digital Artist located in Brooklyn, NY who graduated from Pratt Institute of Art and Design with a BFA in 3D Animation. He’s always had interest in the arts; drawing, painting, and now digital media. His major influences include architecture, music, and philosophy.

Universal Music and progressive, classical music act Era were in search of an aspiring filmmaker to come up with a “treatment” for a music video to be premiered at a central London cinema, aired on MTV and Vh1, as well as through Era’s online networks. The selected filmmaker would receive up to $10,000 of filmmaking equipment and the honor of working with the world’s largest record company. Additionally, $5000 is being distributed between the rest of the filmmakers who submitted.

After a successful voting period and deliberation by Era and Universal Music, the chosen winner of this filmmaker search is Adrian Picardi. Check out his mind-blowing submission below:

Adrian graduated from the Los Angeles Film School at the age of 19. His first student film, ‘His Day to Remember,’ won the Cinematic Flim2Music competition and was also screed at Sundance that same year!

He is best known for securing a spot as one of the young, up and coming filmmakers the industry has seen and for winning a series of online short film contests, now including this one! Adrian works with extremely low budgets but his films are always commercially appealing and visually stunning!

Camilla Arthur is a casting director who specializes in ‘street casting,’ fashion, and beauty. Most of her work is for commercials and advertising/editorial stills but she has also casted a couple of James Bond title sequences along with a number of model searches.

Camilla has also been involved in running the girls division of Models One in UK, she formed her own agency, Camilla Arthur Representation, and has also been DJ’ing in nightclubs and pirate radio.

British Vogue wrote; “Camilla Arthur is the hottest freelance casting director in the land, if not the world. A former photographic agent, she specializes in finding the faces which make advertising campaigns such as CKONE, Smirnoff and the AT&T commercials so memorable and different from the blandly beautiful norm.”
