Blood-works
Jordan Eagles is an artist based out of NYC and has been using animal blood in multidimensional works for nearly a decade. His works explore various themes of regeneration and the intangible connections between body, spirit, and nature.
Jordan’s artwork has been published in various books and catelogues, seen in galleries across the nation including The Bronfman Center Gallery at New York University, and the Center for Visual Arts of New Jersey as well as included in numerous art fairs. Most recently the producers of the Disney film “When in Rome” acquired Jordan’s work to use in their film.
We are delighted to have Jordan as a member of our creative community and you can view his work on Talenthouse at http://www.talenthouse.com/jordaneagles.

It’s interesting to see material that is normally thought of as gross used to create something beautiful. There were paintings at the SFMOMA years ago that were painted on a canvas made of human hair and glue. Disgusting, but beautiful!
